It is used for fixed propeller or variable propeller propulsion ships. It can be used as shaft belt power generation operation when the ship is sailing, and it can be used as synchronous electric operation to push the ship forward.
During the power generation operation (PTO) of the shaft belt system, the host drives the electric excitation synchronous motor to rotate through the gear box, and the system operation frequency conversion controller provides excitation to the generator, and the synchronous generator starts to generate electricity. At the same time, the system excitation controller can also connect the electricity generated by the synchronous generator in parallel with the busbar of the ship's power station system through the frequency conversion controller to supply power to the entire ship.
When the shaft belt system is propelled in parallel with the main engine for electric operation (PTI), the switch K1 is closed, and the bus bar controls the constant torque output of the electrically excited synchronous motor through the system operation frequency conversion controller, and the electric operation is carried out, and the propeller is propelled in parallel with the main engine through the gear box.
