Good News | China Shipbuilding Fenxi Heavy Industry Saisiyi was selected as Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center in 2021

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology officially released the article "Announcement on the Proposed New Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center in 2021". The list of the Proposed New Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Center in 2021 was announced simultaneously. The Jiangsu Provincial New Energy Ship Power Engineering and Technology Research Center declared by China Shipbuilding Fenxi Heavy Industry Saisi Yi passed the processes of organization declaration, material review, expert review, publicity, provincial science and technology department review, etc, successfully selected for the list of "Proposed New Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center in 2021.

Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center is a scientific research and development entity established by key scientific research institutions, technological innovation enterprises and colleges and universities with strong scientific and technological strength in relevant industries or fields in Jiangsu Province. The engineering technology research center is an important carrier for establishing a technological innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market-oriented, and in-depth integration of production, education and research. It is an important starting point for promoting the construction of enterprise R & D institutions and improving independent R & D capabilities.

As a manufacturer of new ship power system integration and core equipment, Saisiyi has international advanced technology and independent intellectual property rights. At present, it has applied for registration of 82 domestic and foreign patents, 43 of which have been authorized, including 13 invention patents. It has also participated in the research of new ship power research projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other ministries and commissions, and has solid independent innovation and research and development capabilities.

On July 10, Fenxi Heavy Industry of China Shipbuilding Group convened an economic performance review meeting for the first half of 2026. The meeting was attended by more than 120 participants, including company executives, independent directors, all mid-level managers from functional departments and the Equipment Company, members of the leadership teams of each subsidiary along with their respective mid-level managers, full-time directors and supervisors, company special envoys, and senior professionals. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yongmao, the company’s deputy general manager.
