On July 26, 2024, the Ministry of Transport and Communications Bureau's battery-powered ship crew training management policy phased evaluation research team visited China Shipbuilding Saisiyi, from the Ministry of Transport Maritime Safety Administration, Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, Fujian Maritime Safety Administration, Shandong Maritime Safety Administration, Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration, Jiangsu Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Supervision Bureau, Guangzhou Maritime Safety Administration, Xiamen Maritime Safety Administration, Wuxi Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Supervision Bureau, etc. More than ten relevant leaders of the maritime department and representatives of the shipping enterprise of Jiangsu Jiangnan Ancient Canal Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd. visited CSSC Saisi Yi. General Manager Wu Yunxiang and Sales Director Guo, the two sides discussed in depth the application status and related technical requirements of domestic battery-powered ships, as well as the current implementation of domestic battery-powered ship crew training.
Zhou Chunfa, Director of the Crew Division of the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport, introduced the tasks of the research team, and at the same time summarized the key points of the battery-powered ship crew training management policy, and expressed the ardent hope that battery-powered ship-related enterprises and units will attach importance to crew training.
The research team went deep into the production workshop of CSSC, inspected in detail the production of core equipment (electronic control and battery equipment) of CSSC battery-powered ships, visited the simulation experimental platform of CSSC battery-powered ships, and held discussions on topics related to crew training of battery-powered ships. At the meeting, Wu Yunxiang, general manager of China Ship Saisiyi, made a special report on "Introduction to Application Technology of New Energy Power System and Crew Training for Ships", and introduced in detail the real-ship application status of China Ship Saisiyi on battery-powered ships over 150 ships. At present, China Ship Saisiyi has set up a special training standard process for crew training. Crew training includes theoretical knowledge training, practical operation knowledge training, and subsequent training small cards and training video data packages. The data packages can facilitate crew members to review and master the operation specifications anytime and anywhere. At present, China Ship Saisiyi has built an electric ship simulation experimental platform, and later can consider training the crew's emergency operation ability on the simulation experimental platform. At present, CSSC has continuously trained 91 delivered electric ships.
At the meeting, the research team fully recognized the achievements made by CSSC Saisiyi on battery-powered ships. At the same time, it also hoped that CSSC Saisiyi would give full play to the strength of the enterprise in the key link of battery-powered ship crew training in the future, help the training and management of relevant personnel on battery-powered ships, and better promote the sustainable development of the battery-powered ship industry.
